 Program/Service Update
September 2020

Due to the Coronavirus Global Pandemic, Wellspring’s Resource Center is unable to welcome people as it once did.

On Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., an awning, tables, and signage are set up for Bread & Soup Express, etc. recipients to receive two pre-cooked packaged meal in addition to enough non-perishable food for at least three additional days. Non-perishables are custom packed depending on family size and need. Wednesday is also the day requests for hygiene products, cleaning products, information, and other items are filled (dependent upon availability). Beginning in September, on Thursdays, between 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., various programs will be carried out. All events and distributions will continue taking place on the side of the building, in front of the big bay door. The list of upcoming events is listed above.

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Wellspring’s Office is Open. Management will be onsite to handle paperwork, grant work, food prep, cleaning, phone calls, emails, website contacts, and other tasks. Face to face meetings have been put on hold, but people are encouraged to contact Wellspring via telephone, the website, and/or email for assistance with utility bills, homelessness, laundry, and other needs.

Many services have been adapted to meet the needs of the people while maintaining safety measures. Laundry has become a by appointment only service, available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Home Improvement program has been postponed, and the bathrooms and shower are temporarily unavailable for public use.
